Real Moms Don't

Slouching Mom has solicited my input on the definition of Real Moms.

Real Moms don't mind if the neighbors use their children as lawn jockeys now and then:

With everyone else staring at the kids, Mom gets a few quiet minutes for herself!

Epiphany, OMSH, SpiceGirl, Fraukow...are you game? Navilyn? How about a Real Dad's perspective? Kristin at The Mom Trap started this one and details are here if you need more to go on.

Somehow I knew I wasn't going to get off scott-free. Okay, I'll bite. Hmmm...

As soon as you get here, I'm selling my lawn gnome at the garage sale!

REAL Moms wear the Easter hats made of toilet paper and tissue attached to flimsy paper plates to CHURCH just to show their daughters how much they appreciated the touching token of their love (and then live through the embarrassment long enough for Al Gore to invent the Internet so that they can blog about it).

You should have them set up like that for your next (long awaited!) bbq.
