Horizontal

I've been attacked by a sinus infection. It's gotten frisky and spread to my ears and is refusing to be tamed by modern medication. If I'm not calling you back, it's because I would speak a little too loudly into the phone and not be able to hear what you said back. If I'm not returning an e-mail message, it's because typing one handed while clutching my painful ear is not much fun. I'm hoping the new course of meds I started today will be more magical than what I've been on...if so, I'll be catching up with all of you soon!

Sorry to hear that, get better soon. I suppose that's what it's like when a child gets an ear ache...

When I was a child, and I had an ear ache, my mum would put warm oil on a small piece of cotton, and place it in my ear. Due to the pain, I'd sleep on that particular ear, and by the first or second morning, it would all be better. Then again, most times, it was water that was stuck in my ear...

Oh, I hate sinus infections, and they are my constant companions.

there is a drops you can get at the drugstore that might relieve the pain; i remember the repeated ear infections well, and the pain of an ear infection is worse than labor in my opinon. (when you get to AZ, you can shout in to my remaining good ear and i'll be glad to shout into yours!get well soon! love you!

Oh Yuck!! I discovered a gross but helpful remedy during my constant infection last year (due to an allergy to feathers I didn't know I had). Warm salt water rinse. You snort it in and let it run back out. Gross, but it works - think how clear your sinuses are after a swim in the ocean. And drug stores have pain stopping drops for ears - check the kids section. GET BETTER SOON!!!
